The Waverley Water Mains Tester
is designed to give fast, accurate and direct
reading of mains flow and pressure at the hydrant
standpipe. In operation the unit is designed to
plug straight into any 2 1/2" instantaneous
outlet. The hydrant is then opened and the flow
passes through the integral filter to give direct
readings of the flow and pressure.
The outlet is also a 2 1/2"
female instantaneous coupling so that a hose may
be fitted to direct water away from the area.
A blank cap complete with bleed button is also
supplied for static pressure readings to be taken
using the same pressure gauge without disconnecting
the unit. The unit requires little maintenance
apart from the periodical cleaning of the filter.
